This painting, on YUPO, was painted several years ago while I was on a week long painting holiday with three other artists. Maybe it should have been cropped at the far shoreline, eliminating the trees, shoreline, and sky???
There will be lots to post when our workshop is over Sunday evening. See you soon!

Sandy,
I don't think it needs any cropping. It is very nice the way it is.
I can't wait to see the posting of the results of your workshop.
Have fun.
I'd love to get to your YUPO workshop - this is a beautiful painting - a lot to look at and enjoy, so it could almost be two paintings, but everything works together as well.
I too am anxious for the workshop...we all get to see so many very cool variations when you do workshops. I still can't believe you get so much detail on yupo. I must not be using thick enough paint. I have trouble with oil slicks...many come right with the paper. Do you wash it off with alcohol before you start?
Hello Sandy, You have just made my day. I was homesick to "Lofoten" in Norway where I come from. And your painting looks a bit like home . I can feel the smell of salty water, drying nets, and I can hear seagulls. Thanx.
Liv
Wish I was there with you all Sandy!
no cropping needed, looks great Sandy.
