Sometimes the emotional connection between humans and animals can be incredibly strong, even if the animal is wild. What fun to try to transfer that emotion on paper while trying to use a good sense of design and composition.Soooo HUGE, this gorilla, and yet he seemed to be so tender. I wanted to capture his drama and gentleness.
